--unquote--
Специально для российских ненасытных охотников за афтографами Брайан разместил на своём сайте это сообщение. Уверен, что всем поклонникам (а так же многим себя к ним причисляющим) с ним необходимо ознакомиться и извлечь выводы... --quote-- "I have to be honest and say that after a few months of fame, NO-ONE actually ENJOYS signing things - it's a huge waste of a life, and in excess is actually soul-destroying. If I had the choice I would never sign anything ever again - it gets in the way so much. All that time could be spent just meeting people, looking them in the eyes, shaking them by the hand, having a proper encounter, instead of looking down at bits of paper all the time. I always think that I prefer people to be FRIENDS rather than FANS - that's how I would rather treat them - and my friends do not ask me to be scribbling my name the whole time ! If you absolutely HAVE to have an autograph (what will you do with it??!!! ) then PLEASE make it just ONE. What is the point of trying to get us to sign the whole collection ?? All it does is stop OTHER people from meeting us, and makes it that we are NEVER free of this awful SIGNING thing. After a while, if every time you go anywhere there are more and more demands from the same people, it gets..... well, very tiring to say the least... It actually meant that a couple of my old friends from Russia weren't able to even say hello this time - they were not pushy, but rather shy, and couldn't get past the throng. I think if we all became friends rather than fans and rock stars (we are not teenagers any more!) things might become more civilised. The same thing goes for taking photographs - wouldn't we all rather have our eyes meet, than have a lens thrust in our faces??? Again, it's just more demands which make normal contact impossible. As for me, I don't push a camera lens in my friends' faces - unless it's in a quiet moment when we both think it's appropriate. Well, enough of this ... " --unquote--
