I´m proud to tell you that The Quarrymen made it to the charts in Germany.

Today No. 2 of the Germany amazon-charts (folk) - before Bob Dylan
and No. 91 of the German amazon-charts (rock) - Rolling Stones at No. 88

In U.S.A. (amazon.com) they have already been on No. 2.500 - that of course could improve ;)

As you know, today amazon and iTunes are more and less the "official" charts.

The Quarrymen - Live and on TV
Holm Dressler, the legendary producer of e.g. the biggest European TV-Show "Wetten Dass...?" has invited THE QUARRYMEN - THE BAND THAT STARTED THE BEATLES to perform at the German national TV-Show (ARD) "50 Jahre Beatles" as special guest. A lot of world wide rock- and pop stars from the 50ies until now will perform LI...VE Beatles-Songs, celebrating this anniversary. And maybe... yes, even that could happen ;)
Please be aware of tickets for the show that will be in Hamburg / Germany, 02 World Arena, December 19th.

The current line-up is original Quarrymen Rod Davis, Len Garry and Colin Hanton, plus Chas Newby, who played the bass guitar with The Beatles at the end of 1960. They were joined by their friend Chrisse Usenius from Finland.
