Её папа тоже её пел и вообще, заявил, что Something самая красивая песня о любви, из всех, которые он слышал. :) Я так понял, что пение песни "Something" семейная традиция Синатр.

Growing up as the child of one of the greatest icons in American music can't be easy, but Nancy Sinatra managed to create a sound and style for herself fully separate from that of her (very) famous father, and her sexy but strong-willed persona has endured with nearly the same strength as the image of the Chairman of the Board.
Between 1966 and 1967 alone, Nancy charted with 13 titles in the U.S. all of which featured Billy Strange as arranger and conductor. In 1967 she paired with her father for her second number-one single, "Somethin' Stupid". In 1968 she acted alongside Elvis Presley in the movie Speedway.

At the height of her popularity, (long before MTV) she starred in several television variety specials, including NBC's 1967 Movin' with Nancy, from which this DVD is taken.

This is a fun and vibrant time capsule. It is closer in spirit to a long form music video than a television show, consisting of filmed footage of Sinatra singing her songs at various outdoor locations (thus the "movin'" theme).
"I Gotta Get Out of This Town" is performed while Nancy literally drives away, "Up, Up and Away" is performed - you guessed it - in a beautiful balloon while dancers cavort madly below, "Sugar Town" is set in an idyllic forest, "Friday's Child" is inexplicably sung at an oil field, and "See the Little Children" and "Who Will Buy?" are set at an abandoned amusement park.

There are also several special guest stars. Songwriter, producer, and frequent duet partner Lee Hazlewood shows up to sing "Some Velvet Morning" and "Jackson" with her. Sammy Davis, Jr. dances around a fashion photographer shooting Nancy while she sings "What'd I Say?" Rarely for its time, the show was recorderd in full colour & the quality is excellent.

In 1968 this show won an Emmy for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Music or Variety and was nominated for 2 others. It is a fun glimpse at one of the 60's most popular singers and the styles of the era.

WHAT’S IT LIKE TO WORK WITH A NANCY SINATRA? They ask it, and ask it, and when you have answered, they ask it again. And the ‘ahs’ and ‘ers’ come pouring from your mouth like so many miles of frozen string melting from each desperate tug of a left hand filled with warm adjectives. And because you will not free your sinful right hand (so happily engaged in mental masturbation), and swim for shore, you drown in a sea of sometimes kind, seldom clever, never interesting and mostly biased anecdotes.

So perhaps in our little story it is best we stay with feelings, failings and fantasies, shying away from graffitied walls of truth where someone has bothered to engrave it all, just as it happened, but didn’t!

What’s it like to work with a Nancy Sinatra? It’s a visit to Disneyland, only your father owns all the rides. It’s an evening in the medicine cabinet of Edgar Allen Poe’s mother. It’s a trip on Superman’s cape and you are too frightened to look down for fear you’ll discover your real identity. It’s a Sousa march and the phallic cymbals are playing melody. It’s a plastic palace where all that glitters is gold. It’s a Las Vegas stage, sitting on a two-dollar stool in front of a fifty-two-piece orchestra, next to a lady in a five thousand-dollar gown; you’re singing a little flat and wondering if the fly is open on your eight-dollar ‘jeans’. It’s Beauty and the Beast selling a ‘fix’ to the Mickey Mouse People. It’s frustrating, foolish, Falstaffian, freaky, fucked-up and fun.

So let us begin at the beginning. . . . . . .
