Не большой поклонник, но в юности очень нравилась.

Знаешь! донт фиа зэ рипер- эту тему я слышала только в обработке ХИМа, уже несколько лет мечтаю услышать оригинал - никак не могу найти запись !

А Don't Fear The Reaper - одна из самых лучших песен BOC, да и вообще, одна из самых лучших песен, слышанных мною вообще.=) Могу раз 20 на дню ее переслушивать. Супер, и нет слов!))))
ЗЫ: Лично я версию ХИМ не слышала, и, думаю, что скор всего не очень получилось!;)

Вторая их самая лучшая песня I Love the Night:=)А лучший альбом Agents Of Fortune-)имхо

Eric Bloom, legendary lead singer of Blue Oyster Cult, will appear on the Moonstone Project!!! He sings on the song "On The Way To Moonstone" (written by Chris Catena & Matt Filippini).

Chris Catena also sings on "Without You". The song is a gentle ballad with string arrangements & a brilliant vocal performance. Thank you Chris!

Guest musicians in these two songs are Daniel Flores (drums & string arrangements-XSavior), Johan Niemann (fretless bass - Therion), Matt Nolberg (hammond organ - XSavior).

Reptile Exile

Drummer Bobby Rondinelli has left Blue Öyster Cult after a seven-year stint with the band. The split is a result of Rondinelli's decision to devote himself full time to his other group, the Lizards. Prior to joining BÖC, the stickman had played with a number of other bands, including Black Sabbath and Rainbow. A Lizards tour of Europe currently is being mapped out.

(09/17/04) -- New York natives and the guys with the strangest band name to hit the airwaves Blue Oyster Cult have announced the departure of Danny Miranda from the band. The longtime bassist left the band in order to join the new Las Vegas production of the Queen stage musical We Will Rock You, where he will join another former bandmate -- John Miceli. This follows the current announcement that drummer Bobby Rondinelli will also leave BOC, following their September 26th performance in Sayreville, New Jersey. Seems as if these guys aren't getting a lot of excitement from this cult anymore. Check the Internet, they might be advertising jobs to join the band.

Я очень люблю группа BOC. За их мистическую и не ординарную музыку. Вообще группа супер во всх смыслах. Вокал - четкий и красивый.
Гитарный соляки Дармы - красивый и не однообразные.
У дарные и бас - "как братья" :)!
Godzilla - это супер вещь. Главный рифф - чотко передаёт омасферу японского фильма про Годзиллу.

Слышал, что новый альбом Sonic Youth будет похож на эту группу (которую я не слышал) времен 3-4 альбома. Уже боюсь.

без Альберта Бучарда навряд ли получится(передать дух старых альбомов).

Прикалываются... Я надеюсь...

У Эрика Блюма вокал мне больше нравится в позднем периоде. Начаиная с Revolution By Night 1983 года. Особенно песни Take Me Away, Eyes On Fire и Make Rock Not War( Club Ninja' 86). Конечно эти песни немного попсовые, но они хороши. Наример в Take Me Away почти в конце есть интересные проигрышы. Мне они напомнили чем-то кусок из песни группы Dream Theater Take The Time.
