Atomic Kitten is an English girl group from Liverpool composed of Liz "Lil" McClarnon, Natasha "Tash" Hamilton, and Jenny Frost - who replaced original member Kerry Katona in January 2001. Atomic Kitten has sold over 12 million albums and 8 million singles around the world. Many of their singles and albums entered the Top 40 charts worldwide such as "Right Now," "Whole Again," "Eternal Flame," "The Tide Is High," and "Ladies Night."

Elizabeth Margaret "Liz" McClarnon (born April 10, 1981 in Liverpool) is an English singer and member of Atomic Kitten. She is now a soloist and is known mainly for her single "Woman in Love" and as for being a contestant on "Making Your Mind Up" in 2007.

Andy McCluskey & Paul Humphreys were the Lennon & McCartney of Liverpool in the 80's. If the Beatles had ever decided to make a "synth" album (heaven forbid), it probably would've sounded quite similar to this album. I can't say enough about how great this album iz. Melodies, harmonies, & emotional angst. Pure electronic pop ecstasy. Clearly one of the most influential albums to come out of 1981.

BUCKINGHAM Palace was evacuated last night after a fire broke out during the Jubilee celebrations.
Stars Will Young, Atomic Kitten, Phil Collins, Eric Clapton and Ozzy Osbourne had to be ushered away. They had been in the Palace grounds rehearsing for today's Golden Jubilee pop concert as flames shot through the roof.

It was the first time the Palace had been evacuated since World War II.

No members of the Royal Family were inside the Palace at the time.

Queen guitarist Brian May, who is due to start today's concert by playing the National Anthem from the Palace roof, was rehearsing when the fire broke out. He joked that he was relieved it wasn't started by his guitar equipment. He said: "I was wating for Joe Cocker, then everything ground to a halt." Brian said it was a strange experience - because he was sharing the evacuation with big names like Will Young and Atomic Kitten. He added: "There was a huge crowd of famous people sat on the lawn. "We could see the smoke from the stage area. They told me it wasn't caused by my guitar amp - so I'm ok."
