A Paul McCartney and Wings song is one of 11 tracks on "USPS: Love Notes," a new compilation of romantic songs to be available starting Thursday and through the end of February at United States Postal Service offices.
The McCartney song, "Silly Love Songs," is featured along with songs by Alison Krauss, Madeleine Peyroux, Tony Bennett (with Bill Evans), Natalie Cole, Frank Sinatra (with Antonio Carlos Jobim), Diana Krall, Spencer Day, Carole King and James Taylor, Ray Charles and Rosemary Clooney.
The track listing for "Love Notes":
Baby, Now That I’ve Found You – Alison Krauss
Dance Me to the End of Love – Madeleine Peyroux
My Foolish Heart – Tony Bennett and Bill Evans
Come Rain or Come Shine – Natalie Cole
Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars (Corcovado) – Frank Sinatra and Antonio Carlos Jobim
Body and Soul – Diana Krall
Till You Come to Me – Spencer Day
It’s Too Late – Carole King and James Taylor
Silly Love Songs – Paul McCartney and Wings
I Can’t Stop Loving You – Ray Charles
P.S. I Love You – Rosemary Clooney (not the Beatles song, but composed by Johnny Mercer)
Ничего редкого. Маккартни там наверняка альбомная версия ремастированная. Эх, жаль сейчас Romantic Collection не выпускают. А какая серия была! Миллионами, наверное, продавалась.
