Вместе со своим коллективом "Блэкморс Найт" /Blackmore's Night/ он представил в концертном зале "Крокус Сити Холл" выпущенный 11 июня новый альбом "Dancer and the Moon". Выйдя на сцену с 40-минутным опозданием, основатель и бывший участник легендарной британской рок-группы "Дип перпл" /Deep Purple/ с лихвой компенсировал томительное ожидание насыщенной программой и ярким и продолжительным шоу. Но поначалу публика достаточно вяло реагировала на выступление современных менестрелей, выбравших в качестве первого номера не самую известную композицию "Locked Within the Crystal Ball" /2008/. "Привет, Москва! Добрый вечер", - поприветствовала по- русски зрителей вокалистка Кэндис Найт. "Рада видеть вас, - продолжила она уже по-английски. - Сегодня вечером мы даем второй концерт тура. Мы в восторге от того, что снова оказались в Москве. Спасибо вам за то, что пришли на наше шоу". Затем спутница жизни Блэкмора предложила совершить слушателям вместе с ее коллегами путешествие во времени. Однако старт оказался неубедительным: размеренная песня "Play Minstrel Play" /1997/ с дебютной пластинки энтузиазма вновь не вызвала. По-настоящему раскачать зал музыкантам, облаченным в средневековые костюмы, удалось лишь зажигательной вещью "Under a Violet Moon" /1999/. Достигнутый успех они закрепили хитом "Soldier Of Fortune" /1974/ из репертуара "Дип перпл". Его исполнение Найт предварила рассказом о том, как по пути из Киева, где 15 июня состоялся первый концерт тура, пропала акустическая гитара из арсенала маэстро, благополучно возвращенная ему буквально перед самым началом московского выступления. Бурю эмоций вызвали также импровизации участников "Блэкморс Найт", которые включили в свои номера, в частности, фрагменты песни "Полюшко-поле" и Чардаша итальянского скрипача и композитора Витторио Монти. Особое настроение при этом создавал видеоряд, проецировавшийся на экране в задней части сцены: шумело неспокойное море, разрезал высокую волну парусник, сверкали молнии, восходила луна, и сменяли друг друга бесконечной чередой времена года. Откровением стала новая композиция "Troika", премьера которой состоялась именно в Москве. "Нас вдохновляют Россия и русский народ", - сказала, представляя ее, Кэндис. Российская тема была вскоре продолжена номером "Toast To Tomorrow" - англоязычной версией песни "Виновата ли я...". Перед этим неожиданно для всех к микрофону подошел обычно молчаливый Ричи. "Нынешняя ситуация меня беспокоит. В Америке я играю своим друзьям русские песни, и они им нравятся. При этом вы никогда не услышите их по радио. Виртуозное соло в композиции "Journeyman" /2010/ навеяло воспоминания о золотых деньках его группы "Рэйнбоу" /Rainbow/. В центре внимания после этого вновь оказалась Найт. Напомнив зрителям о том, что среди ее предков есть выходцы из Смоленска, и объяснившись в любви своей "второй родине", американка объявила следующую песню, "Home Again", по- русски: "Очень приятно снова быть дома". Альбом "Green Bullfrog" был идеей Дерека Лоренса (Derek Lawrence) и первоначально задумывался как полномасштабный проект с соответствующей раскруткой фирмой MCA и предположительно хорошими продажами. Запись состоялась на студии De Lane Lea в Лондоне в 1970 году. Лоренс выступал как продюсер, звукоинженером был хорошо известный специалист своего дела Martin Birch. Однако коммерческим планам Лоренса было не суждено сбыться по причине объективных обстоятельств.Как бы там ни было, альбом вышел в марте 1971 года на фирме Decca и только в марте 1972 года на MCA в Европе.
